Bret is a full-stack developer who loves building things that make people's lives easier (or at least more interesting!). During his 15+ years in tech, he's worn many hats - from writing code and leading teams to occasionally untangling particularly mysterious bugs. When he's not working on web applications, you might find him tinkering with synthesizers - he creates open-source modules for VCV Rack under the name Voxglitch and has even ventured into building physical synth modules.
These days, he's particularly excited about AI and automation, spending perhaps a bit too much time writing scripts to make ChatGPT do entertaining and useful things. He believes in the power of open source, the joy of solving puzzles through code, and the importance of not taking yourself too seriously while doing serious work.
