We are excited to announce a new initiative: the TechPath Alliance, debuting in 2025. This partnership of corporate and nonprofit Alliance members, organized by Wevise, will run a 6-month career development program supporting 150 diverse adults as they begin their careers. Despite the strides we’ve made in gender equality in the tech industry, challenges in overall well-being persist. According to a recent article from DataCenter Knowledge, nearly a fifth of female tech employees are considering leaving their roles within the year. The article lists several ways that tech companies can foster more inclusion in their workplace, such as using inclusive language in job descriptions, addressing unconscious stereotypes through bias training, setting clear consequences for workplace misconduct, providing flexible work arrangements, and fostering professional development for all employees through training and mentorship programs.
