Position Summary
We’re seeking a reliable, early-career WordPress manager to maintain and enhance
Wevise.org. You’ll support integrations, SEO improvements, content publishing, and
collaborate with Design and our Content to keep the site modern, accessible, and
mission-aligned.
What You’ll Do
Site Maintenance & Updates
- Upload graphics, update content, and manage plugins
- Maintain site security, backups, and performance
- Ensure integrations (forms, analytics, CRM tools) run smoothly
SEO & Optimization
- Implement basic SEO best practices (training provided)
- Improve page speed, accessibility, and mobile responsiveness
- Collaborate with the Content Strategist on keyword alignment
Collaboration
- Work with Graphic Design to implement new visuals
- Support Marketing with landing pages and campaign updates
- Publish thought leadership content and CTAs for mentors, mentees, donors, and volunteers
- Communicate and collaborate with product
Accountability & Communication Expectations
- Meet weekly publishing deadlines
- Communicate clearly about changes, issues, and updates
- Maintain documentation of site changes
What You’ll Bring
- Experience with WordPress, themes, and plugins
- Familiarity with HTML/CSS and basic JavaScript
- Strong communication and accountability
Bonus Skills
- Elementor, Divi, or Gutenberg experience
- SEO tools (Yoast, RankMath, SEMRush)
- Experience with nonprofit websites
