Accessibility

Our commitment

Wevise wants everyone to be able to use wevise.org — including people who browse with a screen reader, navigate by keyboard, use magnification, or rely on other assistive technology. Access to mentorship should not depend on whether a website happens to work for you.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

Where we currently stand

This site is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Partially conformant means most of the site meets the standard and some parts do not yet.

We say that plainly rather than claiming full conformance. A statement that promises more than a site delivers wastes the time of the people who most need it to be accurate.

Issues we know about and are working on, as of September 1, 2026:

  • Some smaller text does not yet meet the 4.5:1 contrast minimum against its background.
  • A small number of pages scroll sideways at narrow widths and at high zoom.
  • Some link text is not descriptive enough when read on its own, out of the surrounding sentence.
  • A few pages skip heading levels, which makes navigating by headings less predictable.

Telling us about a problem

If something on this site blocks you, please tell us. Use our contact form and describe the page you were on and what happened. We read every message, we will reply, and we will tell you honestly when we expect to have it fixed.

If you need information from this site in another format while we work on a fix, ask and we will send it to you directly.

How this page is maintained

We review this statement whenever we make a significant change to the site, and at least twice a year. Last reviewed September 1, 2026.
