Wevise (“Wevise,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN 92-2591102) that connects people with mentors and mentorship programs. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through wevise.org and our related services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
Information you provide. When you sign up as a mentor or mentee, contact us, subscribe to our newsletter, apply to a program such as Chicago TechPath, or make a donation, you may give us your name, email address, and other details relevant to your request. Account creation and mentorship matching take place in our application at app.wevise.org.
Donation information. Donations are handled by third-party payment providers. We receive confirmation and basic details of your gift, such as the amount and date. Full payment card details are processed by our payment provider and are not stored by Wevise.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we automatically collect limited technical information — such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, and referring pages — through cookies and similar technologies.
